Schedule of services

Everything we do, what it costs, and how long it holds the chair. Prices marked with a plus are floors that move with density and length — your stylist confirms the figure before starting, and it does not change afterwards.

Four chairs. 1224 Mateo Street. Open Tuesday to Sunday. Consultations are free. Prices quoted before we start. No product upsell. Arts District, Los Angeles.

Section 01

Cutting

Everything is cut dry first. If your hair is curly, come with it dry and undefined — we would rather see the pattern than guess at it.

    Dry Cut

    $95

    Cut dry, in whatever you walked in wearing, so the shape is judged against how your hair actually sits. Finished with a wash and a rough dry.

    The Box Cut

    $135

    Our blunt one-length cut with a hard perimeter — bob, mid-length or long. Built to hold its line for eight weeks without being styled into it.

    Chair time  —  60 min

  • 03

    Full Restructure

    $185

    For hair that has been growing out of something else. Two hours to take the weight down, redraw the shape and teach you how to dry it.

  • 04

    Clipper Work & Line Detail

    $70

    Fades, flat tops, crops and shaved detail cut freehand with clipper over comb. Includes a line-up at the neck and a hot towel.

    Chair time  —  40 min

  • 05

    Head Shave & Scalp Wash

    $60

    Foil shave to skin, scalp cleansed and cooled. Quick, quiet, no conversation required.

Section 02

Colour

Colour is quoted per head, not per bowl. The figure you are given at consultation is the figure on the card, and we will not add a toner charge at the end.

    Full Bleach & Tone

    $340+

    Scalp bleach taken as far as the hair will safely go, then toned. Bond protector is in the bowl, not on the bill. Staged over two visits when it needs to be.

    Freehand Lightening

    $260+

    Painted by hand, no foils, no uniform line. Designed to grow out as a shadow rather than a stripe, so you can leave it six months.

  • 08

    Root Shadow & Gloss

    $150

    A maintenance visit: root depth reset, mid-lengths glossed, tone corrected. The appointment that keeps the expensive one further away.

  • 09

    Block Colour

    $130

    Single-process colour, wall to wall — including full grey coverage and flat black, which we will do without trying to talk you out of it.

    Colour Correction

    From $300

    Box dye, a bad balayage, or four years of build-up. Quoted in writing after a consultation, and often booked across two or three appointments.

Section 03

Repair

We will tell you when a treatment is not going to fix it. Sometimes the answer is a haircut and four months of leaving it alone.

    Bond Repair Treatment

    $180

    Standalone bond-building course for hair that has been over-processed elsewhere. Three visits, two weeks apart, priced as one.

    Deep Clean & Scalp Reset

    $85

    Clarifying wash, scalp exfoliation and a cold rinse. Booked before colour work or on its own when product has stopped absorbing.

Booked by email or phone rather than online, because they need a conversation first.

    Studio Consultation

    No charge

    Twenty minutes in the chair, dry hair, no obligation. You leave with a written price and a realistic number of appointments.

    Editorial & Session Work

    $1,200 / day

    Shoots, lookbooks and runway calls, on location or in the studio after hours. Day rate, kit included, assistant billed separately.

Before you book

  1. 01

    The consultation is free and it is not a sales meeting

    Twenty minutes, dry hair, no cape. You get a written price and an honest count of how many appointments it will take. If the answer is that we are the wrong studio for it, we will say that and give you a name.

    A plus sign means a floor, not a guess

    Prices marked with a plus scale with density and length, and your stylist confirms the number before mixing anything. Nothing is added at the till — no toner surcharge, no blow-dry line item.

  3. 03

    Patch tests, forty-eight hours ahead

    First-time colour guests are patch tested at least two days before the appointment. It takes five minutes at the front. Book it when you book the colour and we will do both in one stop.

  4. 04

    Twenty-four hours to move an appointment

    Long colour appointments hold a chair for most of a day. Move or cancel with a day's notice and there is no charge; later than that and we take half.
